The Washington State Driver Guide (the official DOL driver's manual) is the book the knowledge test is written from — and it's completely free. Many people just don't know where to find it, especially in their own language. Below are direct links to the official WA DOL Driver Guide PDF in 17 languages. Read it, then take our free practice test and book your knowledge test — Kung Fu Driving School is a DOL-approved testing center in Seattle with Chinese-language service.

How to use the guide to pass your knowledge test
- 1. Read the guide in your language. Focus on speed limits, right-of-way, road signs, parking distances, and the alcohol/insurance rules — that's most of the test.
- 2. Take a free practice test. Practice real-style questions with answers and explanations: free WA knowledge test practice.
- 3. Book your knowledge test. Once you're scoring 90%+, book your test at our DOL-approved Seattle center — available with Chinese-language service.
Which version should I read?
Read the guide in the language you understand best — the rules are identical in every version. The DOL knowledge test itself is also offered in many languages (including Chinese), so you can study and test in the same language.
