I took a few private driving lessons with Michael, and it was a great experience. He is a very patient, professional, and responsible instructor. He took the time to explain various driving rules, road signs, and test requirements in a clear and easy-to-understand way. During the lessons, he carefully pointed out my mistakes and gave practical tips to help me improve my driving skills and confidence. I had a really good experience with Kung Fu Driving School and finally passed my Washington road test after struggling for a while at another driving school. The difference in teaching quality was honestly huge. The instructor here was extremely patient and actually cared about helping students understand how to drive safely and correctly. Instead of just giving short commands, he explained observation, lane positioning, turns, parking, and common test mistakes very clearly. After lessons, he would even draw diagrams on paper to help me fully understand situations and road positioning, which helped me improve much faster. Before the test, he also reminded me about the exact things that beginner drivers commonly lose points on, like observation at intersections and speed control downhill. Compared to another driving school I tried before, the experience here was much less stressful. At the previous school, booking lessons was difficult, phone calls often went unanswered, and the instructor would sometimes get visibly frustrated when mistakes happened instead of properly teaching. Kung Fu Driving School felt much more professional, beginner-friendly, and supportive. I gained a lot more confidence driving after practicing here. Highly recommend for new drivers and international students preparing for the Washington road test.

I had a great experience here. Michael’s warm-up session before the driving test was extremely clear and helpful—he walked me through exactly what to expect and pointed out key details that made a big difference during the test. It really helped me feel confident and prepared. Highly recommend!

I had a very good experience with Kung Fu Driving School, especially with Michael as my instructor. He is a very responsible, patient, and detail-oriented coach. What I appreciated most was that he did not just teach me how to “pass the test,” but really taught me how to drive safely and confidently in real road situations. Michael was very clear in his instructions and always explained the logic behind each driving rule and maneuver, which made everything much easier to understand and remember. He paid close attention to my weak points, corrected my mistakes promptly, and gave very practical feedback that I could apply right away. He is also very calm and professional, so even when I felt nervous, I did not feel judged or rushed. Another thing I really appreciated was how organized and efficient the whole process was. Scheduling was convenient, and the lessons felt focused and productive. Michael was specific about what I needed to improve, but he was also encouraging, which helped me build confidence quickly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and wants them to become competent drivers, not just test-takers. I had some driving experience before, so I only took one course to pass the driving test. Michael was incredibly responsible and focused on teaching me real driving skills rather than just preparing me for the exam. He was genuinely eager to help me improve my bad driving habits. Additionally, he didn’t recommend more lessons, stating that I’d already mastered most of the necessary skills and didn’t need any further instruction. Overall, it was a truly responsible and excellent experience. I would rate it 6 out of 5!

Highly Recommend for the Road Test – Passed on My First Try! I had a great experience at Kung Fu Driving School and passed my road test on the first attempt! My instructor Michael was incredibly calm, which was a huge help since I was dealing with a lot of test anxiety. Even during the exam, he was very understanding. Afterward, he took the time to explain a few minor mistakes I made due to nerves and being on an unfamiliar road, but he ensured I felt supported the whole time. There are two major benefits that make this school stand out compared to other famous centers in Seattle: Weekend Availability: They offer tests on Saturdays and Sundays, which is rare for other schools. Flexible Payment: You can pay your exam fees on the spot after scheduling your appointment. I only wish I had found them sooner so I could have done my practice sessions here too. I definitely recommend them for both road tests and practice!

I took about 6–7 hours of lessons here and also asked to practice highway driving. The instructor was very patient and actually took me on the freeway, which I really appreciated since not every school offers that. I’ve tried other driving schools before, and some instructors were impatient and didn’t really teach — they mostly just drove themselves. This instructor was very different. He was calm, easy to talk to, and focused on helping me learn, not rushing through the lesson. The lessons were personalized to my level, and he adjusted based on what I needed to improve. I learned many useful driving tips in a short time and felt much more confident. The pick-up and drop-off service was also very convenient. The only small issue is that scheduling could be smoother, since sometimes it takes a bit of time to confirm. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this school, especially if you want patient, personalized instruction.

I would definitely recommend taking the drive test here. It was a pleasant experience with Michael. I was quite nervous when taking the exam as a foreigner newly in U.S. He understood my nervous and tried to make me relax. I asked some questions before the exam as a new driver. He helped answer them clearly. And after the test, he explained each points that I need to take care of.
